There's something about Peter that's so.... human. Sometimes, he talks without thinking or acts brave when he isn't. There are times when he fails spectacularly or messes up his theology! And yet, despite his flaws and "human-ness", we also get to see him growing and changing over time as the Holy Spirit works in and through him. By the time he writes 1 Peter, he can confidently write about the living hope that is in Jesus!
