Even at a very young age, our children are learning to make choices every single day. They choose whether to listen and obey. They decide whether or not to eat dinner, brush their teeth, put away their things. As parents, we are called to train them to make good decisions and we're tasked with setting consequences when they make poor choices.
Proverbs 4: 14-19 clearly lays out the result of wise and foolish decisions. This week, let's encourage our children to make wise decisions but also remind them that God is good and gracious. He forgives us and often gives us a chance to learn from our foolish decisions.
This week's devotional (Life Hacks: Choose the Wise Path) has a Bible passage, prayer and activities for your family to complete at home. On Sunday, I encourage your kids to join us for Sunday School at 11:30am (preschool - Grades 2) or 1:00pm (Grades 3 to Grades 7) for a time of worship, lesson and games!
